The challenge

When one of the region's largest maritime and logistics providers embarked on an ambitious journey of global expansion, they turned to Engage to ensure no employee was left behind. Aware of the need to transform their employees from passive bystanders into active participants, they approached us to completely revamp their internal communication capabilities. An important goal was to reach front-line employees with limited email access. 

The solution

Using our tried and tested 5-step process, we first conducted research to understand the organisational culture and key communication requirements. Armed with these insights, we developed a detailed 3-year communication strategy, providing a clear roadmap of short, medium and long-term priorities. We looked beyond the ordinary, introducing an inspiring visual identity that facilitated understanding across the board, and created a warm and relatable tone of voice. The result was a comprehensive internal communication roadmap that continues to keep employees informed, engaged and inspired.
