As Consulting Director, you would be responsible for overseeing and building the consulting practice at the Engage Group, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This job is perfect for someone who has relevant experience working as a management consultant (preferably at one of the recognised firms), is excited about setting the vision for the function, and thrives on delivering high quality advice and guidance to clients. The role is perfect for someone with high energy, drive and ambition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership / strategy 

• Work with the Managing Director to set the strategic direction of the consulting team, as well as Engage more broadly. 
• Identify required consulting resources and build a strong team.
• Lead and develop the consulting team, creating an inclusive, happy and balanced work environment that enables the team to deliver exceptional work.

New business development

• Work to identify new business opportunities.
• Attend business development calls, proactively helping clients and the Engage Client Services. Team scope requirements and develop proposals that meet the client’s needs.
• Support the Client Services team identify new business opportunities with existing clients. 
• Support with proposal development.
• Attend relevant industry and networking events and provide thought leadership as a panellist / guest speaker.

Consulting solutions 

• Provide consulting support on all projects as needed. 
• Develop best-practice consulting solutions aligned to Engage’s core focus areas. This includes internal communications, employee experience and change management.
• Act as the key point of support for our Account Directors, helping our delivery teams to structure and shape their deliverables. 
• Shape and facilitate workshops. 
• Provide quality assurance and ensure high-quality deliverables. 

Knowledge development 

• Keep abreast of sector trends and best practices, incorporating these as needed. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• High energy, drive and ambition
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, HR or Change Management
• A least 10 years of experience, the bulk of which should reflect time spent at a reputable management consulting firm/s. 
• Commercial expertise
• Comfortable working with and influencing senior leadership teams 
• Workshop facilitation experience 
• Attention to detail
• An advantage if fluent in Arabic 
• Excellent time management skills 
• MS Office proficiency 
• Self-motivated, with an ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
